Huntsville, Ala. - Chandler/May, Inc. (www.ChandlerMay.com) recently opened a new 25,000 square foot production/integration facility to support System Integration and growth in Command and Control Shelter production in the company’s Large System Integration Division. The company has received over $20M in follow-on contracts from AAI Corporation for more Shadow Ground Control Shelters. Chandler/May has delivered over 50 of the Command and Control Shelters in the last 3 years.

The building, built by Scott Smith & Associates and J and J Properties will contain engineering and technician office space, a computer integration lab and a large-scale integration facility for complete integration of the Shadow Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TUAV) Ground Control Shelters. In the high-bay large-system integration facility a full motion bridge crane with a 5,000 lb capacity has been installed to allow the capability for finished Ground Control Shelters to be mounted on government furnished vehicles for final installation and integration.
